When Herbert Kitamirike first attended a CNI teacher training in 2014 at Maranatha Primary School, he had no idea how deeply it would shape his future.
“CNI gave me confidence, not just in the classroom, but in life,” he reflects.
Through CNI’s workshops and mentorship, Herbert learned to manage learners with empathy, build teamwork with colleagues, and lead with vision. What stood out most wasn’t just the practical training — it was the personal care.
“CNI genuinely cares about teachers,” he says. “They inspire us to grow beyond the classroom — in our families, in our communities, and even financially.”
Today, Herbert is not only a Head Teacher, but also an entrepreneur, mentor, and leader in his district. Inspired by what he received, he now wants to give back as a CNI Ambassador.
“I’ve seen the impact with my own eyes. I want to help other teachers experience what I’ve been given.”
Herbert joins a growing circle of leaders shaped by CNI — now choosing to be the circle in their own communities.
