• Volunteering

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us!

    ChildLife Network International is in need of volunteers for children's programs and activity development.

    The CNI Hope Center is in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. All ChildLife programs can be accessed from this building and we are looking for energetic, loving volunteers who want to make a lasting change in the lives of Ugandan children. You can assist the Hope Center by visiting Kampala and sharing love and skills with the children, or you can stay at home and enhance the CNI programs by being part of a Program Development team or Fund Raising committee. Whatever your gifts, they can be used.

    ChildLife Network International has various programs that focus on specific groups. Each program needs people who want to work with children, present workshops, help in maintenance and assist administration. CNI also needs educators who can help develop these workshops for each program.

    Equip to Equip focuses on early childhood educators. ETE is looking for facilitators who can share the ChildLife seminars or workshops with these teachers so that they are better equipped to handle their student's psychological development.

    Project Relay Hope has a separate camp program called "Relay Hope Children's Camps". RHCC needs more camp counselors who can encourage the youth to grow more confident using CNI training.

    The Impact a Future Today program focuses on faith-based communities. IFT needs Christian facilitators who can share the ChildLife seminars or workshops with children, Sunday school teachers, parents and caregivers in orphanages so that they are equipped with better tools to nurture their children's emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs.

    All volunteers are welcome and those with formal education and experience in one or more of the following areas are especially needed:

    *
    Counselling and social work
    * Child and community development
    * Assisting people with disabilities
    * Recreation or physical education
    * Teaching
    * Curriculum development
    * Public health promotion including HIV/AIDS awareness
    * Communications, public relations and fund raising

  • Take a trip that will change your life and a life of the child.
    The benefits of volunteering with ChildLife Network International are enormous. Any challenges delivering CNI field projects are more than compensated for by the rewards. You gain professional growth in areas of leadership, project management, intercultural communication, problem solving, the ability to work as part of a team and the compassion to recognize and work for the needs of a community project.

    We look forward to partnering with you to make a lasting change in the lives of Ugandan children by sowing seeds of hope.

    Thank you for reinforcing society's basic social safety net - collective responsibility
