Imagine facing Extreme Poverty, Malnutrition, Abuse and Diseasealone, at only 12, 10, or 2 years old.
Truly, this is hard to imagine.
But this is the plight for millions of African children, left orphaned by AIDS, political strife or war. Not only robbed of their parents, these children have lost their childhood, and any hope for tomorrow. Without crucial guidance, protection and support, these orphans are left vulnerable to sexual exploitation or are recruited into a life of crime or warfare; ill prepared to assume responsible, productive roles in their community.
It is Unimaginable, and Unacceptable.
Childlife Network International in partnership with the local community is determined to improve children’s lives in Africa. Our goal is to "instill and restore hope in as many little hearts as possible" by working in some of the most Underprivileged areas of Africa; Empowering Children, Equipping Teachers and Caregivers with the tools they so desperately need to provide a safe, healthy, supportive environment.
Childlife Network International is working with Uganda’s schools, churches, health care agencies and communities to offer programs that promote social, emotional, educational and spiritual development. Through camps and classes in a caring, supportive atmosphere, we give children the courage to overcome their pasts . . . building self confidence and strength of character. For adults, who are products of difficult childhoods, we model alternative and positive child rearing techniques that help build secure and stable families.
ChildLife Network International invites you to partner with us. Together, we can relieve the suffering of many while creating a lasting impact on their future.
No matter what size your donation; be assured you can make a difference!
